    INCOME

You’ll need to pull together all your information to show your income for 1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024.

Here are some examples of the things you need to think about getting:

    • Payment summaries (PAYG summaries)
    • Centrelink statements
    • Bank interest
    • Dividends received
    • Managed Funds info
    • Shares info
    • Rental income

    EXPENSES

Having trouble remembering everything you’ve spent over the year that can be used in your tax return? You can check out your bank and credit card transactions, and we’ll go from there.

This could include many things, depending on how they are linked to your work.

    Consider:

    • Motor vehicle expenses
    • Work-related expenses
    • Self-education expenses
    • The fee you paid last year to prepare your tax return
    • Rental property expenses
